"Ubud "

10.0

The homestay is tucked away in a lush green rainforest which gives a serene zen feel. The surroundings are just gorgeous so it is very nice to have a little table & chair outside your room to enjoy being outdoors. The room was big & it is cleaned everyday. But as many have said what truly makes this place the best is the hospitality. Lura the owner was so helpful! The map he gave me when I checked in was amazing! Even other locals remarked out how great & helpful it was when they saw it. He took me on a bike to a coffee plantation & tea tasting tour. He is good conversation & shared a lot of information about Balinese culture with me. He also organised a driver to take me to the Aling Aling Waterfalls where I dropped my phone into the water & when I got back he drove me to several cellular repair shops to try & fix it. He even negotiated with them to fix it overnight as I was leaving the next day. Everyone I've talked to says they wished they stayed longer in Ubud & I should've heeded their advice because I wish I could've stayed longer too! Can't wait to be back!

"Very nice Homestay!"

10.0

Its a shame I couldnt extend my stay more than 3 nights (fully booked) because this place is really nice! At the back of a small street, you cant hear the street noise, but the birds which is quite nice after having wandered in the city and its agitation! Just note that the roosters are a little anoying in the morning. The owner is really nice and always make sure you have a pleasant stay. Breakfast is simple but good, fruits plate and banana pancake😊 The 3 standard rooms were av. when I arrived but one had way more light, it was large, for 1 person, super clean, bathroom too, bed was comfy, with a mosquito net around, perfec! I know you can rent a scooter here (50 000 rp). Would definitly come back here!

"In love with Latugu Homestay."

10.0

From the moment we arrived the hosts have been an absolute pleasure and so accommodating. So kind and gentle. It's location is perfect as it sits in more of a locals street than the tourist crazed streets which are only a 5 minute walk away. We booked for 4 nights but have stayed our entire trip. Couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. Wish we could live here... ♡♡♡♡

"Lovely place to stay in Ubud"

10.0

I couldn't recommend this place more. I received a warm welcome with a pot of tea and a very helpful map from the wonderful owner of this place. It's a family business and they really do seem to care about their guests. It's a perfect location, within walking distance of the monkey forest and palace and the centre of Ubud; yet the Homestay is tucked away at the edge of a little jungle which is very peaceful and just what I needed after the madness of Kuta! The owner's niece made me a wonderful breakfast each morning and swept my room everyday, and the mosquito net was great. The owner also speaks really good English, having lived in Australia before, and I had a lovely chat with him. I wish there were more places like this. It is an absolute gem!

"Brilliant little paradise"

10.0

I'm checking out of Latugu today and wish I wasn't really. The staff are brilliant, so attentive and helpful. A nice size room with a 4 poster bed and massive hot shower. Free breakfast every morning, which was different each of the 3 nights I stayed here. The jungle view from our balcony is just beautiful and great to wake up to every morning instead of a swimming pool or something. Just one point, it's hidden from the main road and the sign is not very big so make sure you have the address written down if you want to get a taxi here. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and would come back if I'm ever in ubud again.

"Hidden little heaven in Ubud"

8.0

I'm currently staying here for 2 nights, i wish i could stay longer! This place is peaceful (next to small jungle) & relaxing, surrounded only by the sounds of nature, yet not far from restaurants, shops & warungs. The room has air-con, mini bar fridge & free breakfast, newly built & clean, only $26/night! No TV, but wifi is available :)

"The most loving and caring homestay in Ubud"

10.0

My friend and I spent about 20 days at Latugu Homestay. We even came back again to end our Bali trip here, because we missed Ngurah and Ubud so much, despite having other plans to start with. The facilities and location of the homestay is perfect! The rooms are spacious, bright and clean and every morning you are met with a smile from the lovely staff and are offered lovely a breakfeast and kopi, made freshly in front of you. Always fresh, local food and banana pancakes or eggs ect. for free :) We went all over Bali and never got a breakfeast or rooms so nice and cheap. Ngurah is the most charismatic and lovely down to earth man, who will help you with anything. He helped us arrange several tours, bike renting, drivers and much more - just ask! You can rent cheap but very good motorbikes across the street, so you can get anywhere in Ubud in a few minutes. But still, by foot, you are very well located at Latugu Homestay. The Yoga Barn is 5 min away and Radiantly Alive 10 min and so is the Monkey Forest and shopping opportunities. All in all we highly recommend Latugu Homestay. We will definetly go back to Bali and Ubud and we could never think of anywhere else to stay than with Ngurah. All our love and thoughts to Ngurah, the staff and Ngurah beautiful mother. We hope you are well! See you sometime - Merle and Vega

"Great value for money"

10.0

The jungle view from the deluxe room was awesome. Ngurah was quite helpful and booked me Mt. batur trek for half the price that I was getting online. The room and bathroom were pretty spacious and were cleaned daily. The staff was also helpful and try to help you the best they can. There was no staff who stayed at the homestay at night. I would have preferred if somebody was there at night, from security perspective and also if I had any emergency situation at night. Also breakfast could do with more variety, especially since I am a vegetarian.

"Peaceful gem"

8.0

This place is a little away from the bustling scene of ubud and that may be good for people who wish to have a quiet time and soak up themselves in that ambience of nature, peace and beauty. It is still within comfortable walking distances to yoga barn, Jalan Hanoman and monkey forest. This is a place of soul recovery and healing.

"Amazing"

10.0

Absolutely amazing. Me and my girlfriend stayed here 3 nights, wish we stayed longer. The owner and staff were very helpful and nice. The owner organised any transport we needed and activities we wanted to do, and also gave good advise of things we could do and nice restaurants in town. Location is a short walk to town, and the owner had scooters available. Our room looked out over a running creek and jungle, and with no mosquitos, beautiful garden next to the clean kitchen. Our room was lovely, had aircon, clean with daily housekeeping, wifi worked well, great bathroom with plenty of room. There is also a laundry service out the front which was great and cheap. Next time i am in ubud i will definitely stay again, and i highly recommend it for all.
