Super nice staff. Picked me up for free from where I got dropped off with the bus. Always ready to help. Also very clean and good food.

Great location and cheap

Bedroom was super basic and very dark - mattress on the floor, sheet that didn't fit the bed at all and kept coming off and the hardest lumpiest pillow ever. Not very comfortable. Food was not great and the water went a couple of times. Also no Mosquito net (we saw them in other rooms, just not ours), this feels like a necessity in a jungle guesthouse with gaps in the doors for mosquitos and bugs to get in. There were ants all over the floor and we were just on a mattress on the floor.

Staff really helpful and nice 😊 recommend this place. Food in the restaurant was really good. Will come again.

I absolutely loveed it. I booked this place for one night, I stayed for 5. The staff is incredibly helpful and lovely, ready to arrange and assist. They are one of a few places here run by LOCAL people, instead of Westerners, which is very important (support local community and business!!). The guides they work with are just fantastic and you couldn’t ask for more. The food it great and there’s plenty to chose from. It is a typical simple guesthouse with friendly vibe and everything you need. I really recommend to anyone who is looking for contributing to the community while having adventures.

Deserves six stars. Beautiful traditional Indonesian bamboo house, right on the river of Bukit Lawang, with clean facilities, delicious food, and friendly staff. We did a jungle trek through them that was sublime. Three days, saw orangutans and tucans and rafted all the way down to the river back.

There is apparently a scam going on in Bukit Lawang. I did the jungle trek from another accommodation but needed to stay for a other night in the village. Since my previous accomodation was occupied I tried this one. The lady at the reception was not amused and needed to ask her boss whether it is ok to have me here (even when I booked it online) because of some Jungle Trek Agencies that some accomodations are in a fight with. I think this should be known. So whenever you have no transport on the same day that you come back from the jungle I recommend to book the same initial accomodation for after the trip, else you might run into the same problem. I had the cheapest room Room was small, no bed - mattrasses on the floor, no AC, no mosquito net, shared bathroom with shower had no toilet paper, water from the shower was not more than a rinse
