Junia Guesthouse Bukit Lawang

Very beautiful place with a lush garden along the river in Bukit Lawang. The rooms a very spacious and super clean, overlooking the garden. A great restaurant is also part of the guesthouse which has great food. Highly recommended. The staff was amazing and organised everything. The jungle treks are amazing. Our guide Arman and Mr Don were a great team and such great guides. We learnt so much about the wildlife and saw lots of animals on the trek. This was one of our highlights in Sumatra.

Water heater does not work, tap water in the bathroom is not strong enough.

Location was great! We arrived on Sunday and all the local people were tubing in the river, such a nice entrance! The room was really spacious and the staff was really nice. We had dinner in their restaurant and the food was really tasteful! Would definitely recommend staying here. Also a good place to start and end your jungle trek.

The douche was cold, but that didn’t matter to us. It was warm enough to appreciate a cold shower.
