I loved the location its a beautiful place to stay. The staff were very friendly helpful and attentive.

The cabins need a lot of maintenance, there was a hole in my roof and a bird got in during the night waking me. The bathroom was very shabby. The worst was the loud boom boom music at night coming from the lizard Valley every night which was a shame as it ruined my stay.

The location is perfect, bird sounds constantly, surrounded by trees, very very tranquil, has a calm atmosphere. It’s close to lots of other places, but nicely out of the way too. You can hear the waves at night! The staff were always very attentive and friendly too and the hammocks were lovely to chill in.

Nothing really- just keep in mind that you are in nature so you may have some friends in your hut. It’s rustic and I didn’t mind- but it might not be for everyone.

I liked Food, vibe, service, location, stillness. The place is in the beautiful garden near the lagoon. No loud music, no loud neighbours. The biryani and noodles were very good. I enjoyed breakfast from the terrace. The sea is just a few min away.

At night I hear some rats. As I am not used to it, it was annoying and uncomfortable. But they do no harm and are common in Goa. So ear plugs should solve this problem. Everything else was perfect.

The huts felt overpriced for what they were

The staff that worked there were so lovely and very efficient and helped us with all of our questions. Excellent location, the outside communal area is really beautiful and so nice to relax in (comfy hammocks). Really nice snacks available from the kitchen and delicious chai.

The bathroom was our biggest concern and did not meet basic cleanliness or maintenance standards. There were holes in the bottom of the cement sheeting (as it was eaten away by insects). There was a very strong odour of moth balls and a musty moist smell that was quite off putting. It was quite hot and at times difficult to sleep as there was no AC. Furthermore we could not pay with card (cash only) and it was hard to get such a large amount of cash out to pay with many ATMs in Palolem not dispensing large amounts of cash. It also seemed to be overpriced for what you got in terms of the maintenance of the huts compared to other hotels and resorts in the area. I would not recommend it for young families or the elderly. The staff who worked there were wonderful however and the outside communal area was so beautiful. B
