"Exceptional"

We really enjoyed our stay. The room overlooking the park was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The parking arrangement was great. The location was perfect for exploring Whitby on foot. The fresh fruit salad for breakfast was a nice touch.

"Superb"

We had a lovely warm welcome from Gwen and David, even before we arrived with an early phone call to say our room would be ready early. Our room was spacious with a huge, newly renovated en suite. Location was perfect - a leisurely walk to the centre. A big bonus was the parking, which can be a challenge in Whitby. The breakfast was delicious, really set us up for the day. Would 100% recommend.

"Lovely short stay in a clean and welcoming guest house."

Great location, easily walkable into town. Parking space close to guest house. Super friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble, lovely freshly cooked breakfast to set you up for the day.

"Jewel of a guest house."

This guest house is very centrally located in Whitby and the owners Dave and Gwen are wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a break away from home. The breakfast was first class. Would highly recommend this guest house for anyone wanting to stay in Whitby. Good value for money.

Absolutely loved our stay! Everything about the guest house is fantastic - the hosts are very welcoming, our room was lovely, fantastic breakfast, very clean, excellent location (2 minute walk from the bars/shops) and convenient parking. We’ll definitely be back the next time we are in Whitby.
