Check in was eenvoudig, je ontvangt een mail met de code voor de voordeur en het sleutelkastje bij de kamer

Veel zwarte schimmel in de douche. De hele kamer ruikt daardoor ook muf naar de schimmel. Ik had de waarschuwingen in andere reviews helaas niet serieus genomen, maar dat was een fout. Ik voelde mij ziek na een nacht slapen en mijn partner later ook, wat pas weer weg ging nadat we een tijdje buiten waren geweest in de frisse lucht. Erg jammer, en gevaarlijk.

Beautifully decorated and lovely attention to detail. The room was quaint and comfy and like a little escape from the world. Quite a find!

The room was cosy and clean. The location is a pleasant walk into town. Street parking was free and easy.

The single room only has a toilet with a tiny sink, too small to even wash your face. To access the shower you have to go through three different locked doors and out onto the street. I made this trek twice to find the bathroom occupied and eventually gave up and left. I feel this should have been made clear in the room description. The wifi in the room is also very poor and phone reception patchy which made planning activities hard.

York city centre is nice, lots to do & see
