Salisbury Guest House - free parking

Lovely guest house. Excellent location. Great value for money.

Comfy bed

Mold on the walls, very cramped, tiny bathroom, gone off milk in the room.

Location. I know York and this is a dynamite location. 15 min walk to the city, free parking. Brilliant

Ground floor room

Comfy room, jar full of my favourite biscuits, quaint building and best of all total silence! Lots of parking, helpful instructions on gaining access to room. Loads of positives.

The fact I arrived past midnight and had to leave early next day so I didn't have a chance to meet the staff in person - gutted as they were so friendly on messages/emails. All my fault, not theirs!

This is a great location, only 15 mins walk into the old town and to the Cathedral, Shambles area.

Bed could of been more comfortable, I could feel the wooden spine of the boxspring below the mattress.

Cute and cozy style. Small rooms but enough space for one night. Biscuits provided were very nice and there was tea and coffee provided too. Check in was easy. We didn’t hear guests unless they were leaving, though we stayed in room 5 right next to the door

Bed wasn’t the comfiest thing and the bathroom smelt really bad though it looked clean enough it just smelt wet. Location is good but the street is surprisingly busy even on a Thursday night so it wasn’t the most peaceful sleep, though we did stay on the ground floor.

Cosy single bed room in the back of the house. Tea, coffee and custard cream biscuits were provided with the room. Single room comes with a toilet. The shower is in the house.

Location is not ideal. Personally i do not drive, if you do then there is no issue. Walking to town takes 45 minutes.
