Hospitality , dinner and pleasing manners of staff

Feel not worth the effort to drive inside 13 kms in slushy and difficult terrain taking about 45 min. Nothing to see in and around and can't even go out. from the location. Rooms are very small for 2 people. No ward robe / even hangars for the clothes. Breakfast is not provided by them. It takes quite a while to come to town and you have to manage in mediocre roadside shops for a bite enroute. Generally room heater not provided and we got it citing health conditions of one of the guests. Dinner preparation was good with homely food. Not recommended if you are with family.

The Kharjap homestay exudes a warm and familial atmosphere. The host provided exceptional service that exceeded our expectations. The family room we stayed in was generously sized and comfortable. Our son developed a strong attachment to the place and expressed his emotions through tears when it was time to depart. The host's kind demeanor created a bond akin to having a lovely younger sister. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the remarkable hospitality extended to us.

The best homestay you can ever come across. The sisters managing the place is very hospitable. Very welcoming amd the food was just amazing. I can truly say home away from home

The host family, facilities and location (though 14km, 30 mins away from the highway), the scenic view, calm and quiet. The food. The whole family was so nice and keen to make us comfortable. The fireplaces and interaction with other guests was such a unique experience. The place is so good for relaxation!! One most important thing: the host informed me personally about the remoteness of the location (though I knew about it) and made it sure that I had not made any mistakes in booking. This was really nice and touching (she was ok to lose her customer but making sure that the customer won't be unhappy).
