Afonso Guest House - Fontainhas

We spent just one night at this lovely heritage property and enjoyed getting to know Jeanette, whose family the house has been in for generations. She gave us some useful local information including a great restaurant recommendation. Although the house is located in the centre of Fontainhas, which is very convenient for exploring the old Portuguese quarter, the room was really quiet. Breakfast was served on the beautiful roof terrace. The staff were lovely, and if you're an animal lover, you'll adore the two ginger cats.

Afonso Guesthouse is beautiful with so many plants on the rooftop garden and around the property. It is super clean. Jeanette, Clifton and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Die Lage mitten in Fontainhas ist super. Das Anwesen ist gepflegt und herrlich bepflanzt, die root top lounge ist prächtig. Das Frühstück wird individuell auf Wunsch zubereitet und von Cavaji mit einem 'beautiful smile' serviert - ein schöner Start in den Tag 🤩

Die Ausstattung ist OK, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, TV und ständiges Warmwasser nicht wirklich nötig. Das schöne Haus in Fontainhas hat seinen Preis - man sollte bei den Insta-Teens eine Fotogebühr erheben und dafür die Zimmerpreise attraktiver machen 😄

In the middle of Fontainhas but quiet. Really comfortable ground floor room and stunning terrace full of flowers, location of ATMs, , great breakfast .but best … Jeanette and her son. She sorts everything… scooters, taxis, health issues, where to eat. Really quirky but cute place to stay

La guest house est une maison familiale divisée en deux et, dirigée par la mère et son fils. Le fils Clifton est très réactif sur les demandes par téléphone et la maman Jeannette était toujours à l'accueil quand je passais dans la journée. Donc le service est plus personnalisé. Les lieux ont un charme désuet avec sa décoration et ses plantes abondantes, ce qui semble plutôt rare dans une ville indienne. Le toit terrasse et la situation géographique de la guest house sont des atouts certains. Pour finir, gros coups de coeur pour les chats magnifiques et la présence discrète de l'aide de maison.

Juste une information : on ne peut pas payer par carte, il ne faut pas oublier les espèces.

Afonsoさん、Jeanette さんのホスピタリティーが素晴らしかったです。また屋上テラスでの朝食もおいしく、綺麗な植物に囲まれての朝食は素敵な一日のはじまりになりました。また来ます。
