"A beautiful homestay in the heart of Panjim"

We had a wonderful stay at Afonso guest house, Jeanette was absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. It was like staying with a close friend or relative. We especially enjoyed the beautiful roof garden and the delicious homemade desserts and chocolate given by Jeanette. We highly recommend this place and would visit again.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt und das Guesthouse Afonso mit seiner wunderschönen Terrasse hat voll unseren Erwartungen entsprochen und passt hervorragend in die Fontainhas! Wunderbare Atmosphäre im und ums Haus herum. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Menschen, wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und auch das Frühstück war einfach, aber sehr gut! Wenn nach Panjim, dann nach Fontainhas und ins Afonso ;-)

Great location in the heart of Fontainhas. Jeanette was a fabulous a host who took pride in the local history and gave wonderful suggestions for authentic Goan cuisine.

Superb location, house itself is very well maintained older Portuguese house with amazing garden terrace on top. Very nice owners, they helped us to arrange the taxi. Room was spacious and clean. We also could order yummy breakfast for at extra cost. Definitely recommend to stay here!
