Pas de frigo dans la chambre... Prix un peu moins intéressant que la moyenne... mais le cadre vaut la peine!

I haven been going to Goa since 2015. Living in Hyderabad, I consider Panaji a second home. I found Afonso Guest House in 2015 itself, but I was staying at a different place and just breakfast there. In 2018, I went back and stayed at Afonso Guest House. One thing that stands out: this is one of the cleanest places I have stayed at in India. I have been to 20 Indian states and UT's, which means a lot. I have stayed in some 5 star hotels that weren't as clean as Afonso Guest House. The decoration is amazing, and so is the breakfast! I love it!

I had a wonderful stay at Afonso Guest House in Goa. The property has a charming, homely feel with beautifully maintained interiors and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hosts are incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Their genuine care makes you feel more like a welcomed guest than a traveler passing through. Overall, Afonso Guest House is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and heartfelt hospitality, with a great location. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Goa!

it is perfect for a short stay to explore Panjim & the surrounding places. As i wanted to use local transport, the kadamba bus station is close by. The rooms are small & compact but very tastefully done and comfortable. Jeanette, the lady boss of the establishment is extremely warm and helpful for anything you need and the girls who help out at the place are great at their job. Before I left, i was given homemade sweets for my return back home :) I shall return many times!

Nice roof garden. Breakfast on rooftop simple but good and low cost. Hosts were very friendly and kind. Aesthetic and charming home. Clean and good service by polite smiling staff.

Must pay in advance only by bank transfer. High rate for a very small basic room. Padlock on door a bit weird. Electric power tools operating all day across the street.

Lovely heritage property in historic part of the city surrounded by greenery

Such a beautiful old building which has been maintained with a lot of love and attention. Charming little garden to front and on the roof terrace full of exotic plants. Bed was nice and firm. The owner is a lovely lady who offered all sorts of advice and even gave us a parting gift of home-made coconut cake. Set in the more historic Fontainhas area of Panjim with easy walking to the central areas.

It feels a bit churlish to complain at all, but a kettle would have been welcome for my early morning cuppa.

Ljuvligt guesthouse i hjärtat av Panjim. Mrs Afonso och hennes fina familj tog emot oss med värme och omtanke. Inför resan fick vi hjälp att boka taxi från flygplatsen vilket kändes tryggt eftersom det var vår första resa till Goa. På plats fick vi ett härligt rum i det kärleksfullt inredda huset. Vi fick tips om en underbar restaurang vi aldrig hade hittat på egen hand. Frukosten, som serveras på husets takterass, var otroligt god och omsorgsfullt lagad. Vi fick balnad annat lokalt bröd och en riktigt bra chai masala. Vi fick också förvara våra väskor i hallen efter att vi checkat ut. Tyvärr stannade vi bara en natt - vi skulle gärna återvända.
