Food incredible and varied at each meal and they catered for food preferences. If you can communicate these in advance even better. Clean room, comfortable bed, good functioning mozzie net. We found out afterwards but they offer great prices on boat hire, trips and island hopping. Ask on arrival to sort yourself out early. We hired a bike through them as well to explore the island more. They arranged meet and greet with ship captain at Manado port and porter service for bags - which we didn’t know about in advance but great and appreciated. Wifi not too bad, I did work from here in the evenings and was mostly fine. Just occasional power outages but they didn’t last long. But if you’re not doing intense screen sharing and are prepared to move a little slower with loading screens you can work here with ease. Shared bathroom - super basic - 1 temperature water in shower but clean - which is most important. Locally owned - support them :) Family is lovely, they make everything possible if you ask and they have great plans for growth which is awesome and we look forward to seeing their success !!

Very hot room without AC. We didn’t realise it was shared bathroom but that was our bad. Lock on bathroom door needs fixing. Communal area could be more comfortable… but it’s currently being developed to improve it. We found the hosts a little “shy” due to the language barrier with regards to providing info (doesn’t help that we’re shy too) so you just have to take innitiative to ask for what you want - they’ll make everything possible if you ask. We didn’t (silly us!!)

We enjoyed our 7 days stay here very much. The owner is a very nice guy, who can help arrange transport, snorkeling and tours for a reasonable price. The room is basic but comfortable and has everything you need. But the highlight here is the food. For us it is the best food we have had since almost 3 months traveling in Indonesia. A lot of veggies and variations, every meal feels like made with love and a lot of consideration. Snorkeling available directly in front of the beach, endless turtles and fish We will come back!

Everything was nice, quiet place and the family was so good. The food amazing!

Great Food and very kind hosts

this homestay was really really nice. the food 3x a day (7-9am, 12.30pm, 7.30pm) is soooo good. best food i had in indonesia, and different meals each time. Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

it was hot in November, some rooms have the morning heat, others more in the afternoon. so in the mornings i was up, and sweating a bit, around 6-7am, which is fine if you're diving and taking advantage of the day (look for high tides to snorkel!). also, i think the property could make better use of its awesome location with some hammocks or more comfortable seating chairs (wooden lounge chairs, or something) to read on the roof or at the beach. it was a bit uncomfortable to sit around the property, but nearby cafes like Queen cafe is recommended.

The owners were sooo friendly, but The Best was the food! Really tasty with spices and perfectly cooked. Would come again!

The hosts are amazing and so friendly and helpful. The food is really delicious as well, loved it every time!

It gets very hot during the day, also in the room, so just be aware of that when you’re coming here
