Karta House

Karta House exceeded my expectations, given the price. The room was spacious and clean—something that’s not guaranteed in Bali. It’s quite central, just off the Main Street in Ubud. I had no problem walking to everything. I loved my short stay and you can tell the family of Karta and Mangak take good care of the place. Also, I very much appreciate them waiting up till 2am for me after my flight to Bali was delayed!

The mini fridge in my room smelled strongly of Durian so I couldn’t use it. Maybe a scrub with baking soda would help!

Accomodation is located in good street, few meters from yoga studios, massages and restaurants. The family is very nice, quiet, cleaning every day when you go out.

The aircondition needs some maintenance. Smells like when food cooking and was not working during the night.

Clean and cozy with affordable price. Very good location.

Balcony door did not close fully. Not the accommodations fault, but just that there are chickens & roosters close by to the property that were loud all throughout the night which did wake us up
