Surf Retreat Villa Sari Bali

Location and privacy of the villa pool from the outside world. Pool is shared amongst other guests but plenty of room. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable and bathrooms adequate and staff very friendly and accommodating. Communal kitchen facility is a big bonus.

Bathrooms lacking hot water despite claiming hot water exists. I think the shared hot water tank is small, so get in early for a warm shower. Tv still don’t work in the rooms.

- on Booking, it’s said to be a 30m2 villa with private pool. We ended up with a small room with a 140 x 200 cm which is small for 2 - cleaning (too?) quickly done ? Trashbag in bathroom was full when we arrived… - we asked for towels for the pool, but they don’t have - not possible to have breakfast there - scooter necessary

TV’s still don’t work despite this listed on the booking site as an item in the rooms. It should therefore be working.

Nothing - we left immediately.

Mould in rooms, no windows - misleading booking.

Super nice and friendly owners :) With a scooter pretty close to the surfspots (3-6min).

Seems to be in a better shape some years ago and lots of thrash burning from the neighbors. So our room was like a smoker.. But not the fault of the accommodation ☝️

Beautiful hotel, super clean facilities and good location to Pulukan Beach and Medewi Beach (2 minute on scooter). Hotel owner is super friendly and accommodating. Pool is clean and nice place to relax. Also have surf lessons and board hire!
