Bubu Racok Homestay

Location could not be better, perfectly placed ON the beach. The staff so nice, friendly and helpfull. With a great understanding of giving the guest space and room for privacy. Very clean. The BEST pancakes, I had in Bali. Quit and you can hear the ocean when you sleep. Here is great value for your money

This little homestay is right on the beach with lots of snorkeling opportunities out the front. Great place to swim. The local family who runs the place are beautiful people. Good breaky while watching the beach and the world go by. Very comfy bed and it is near lots of local eateries and supermarkets. Money changer next door very trustworthy. Very much enjoyed our stay here

The sea view room on the ground floor has no privacy. There are people sitting just outside your room as soon as you open the curtains. There’s a lot of people milling around and I did not feel the property was very secure. The bathroom was very rundown and smelly, I would not walk with bare feet in it, the pictures aren’t accurate showing that there is a shower head, it’s just a spout of water. I got laundry handled by the property and it came back not clean and smelling of smoke, possibly just rinsed in water and dried. They are friendly but it felt very surface level. There are definitely better places to stay for a similar budget.

Very comfortable room with a nice and quiet atmosphere. The airco was the most quiet one I have ever had in Bali; that's a BIG plus! Good warm shower and very friendly family. Although it rained a lot (rainy season), I liked staying here. Very close to Rimba Cafe; great place for coffees and lunch!

This is a great place. The room was immaculate, including some flowers on top of the bed, which was confortable and very big. The sisters that take care of the place received us with open hands and even invited us to their family ceremony for which they lended us a sarong and everything. Breakfast also very good. 100% recommend

It would be good to have more variety for breakfast. Also the transport is a bit expensive, although I think it is the same in the whole Amed

- Wonderfully friendly and helpful family who run this Homestay. Room was cleaned every day. Any request was greeted with a smile. - Perfect location. Very calm and relaxing. Many an hour spent on the sun beds, out the back on the beach, listening to the waves lapping against the shore. Also the view of Mount Agung from the beach is absolutely stunning. - Snorkelling directly in front of the Homestay is epic. Amazing varied coral and abundant sea life. Some of the best we saw in three months in Indonesia. Also it’s very quiet in terms of boats and other snorkelers. - Good quality and hearty breakfasts. Banana pancake or omelette (both delicious), fruit juice, and plate of fruit. - Loads of great restaurants nearby (try Rimba cafe just up the road).
