Bubu Racok Homestay

An amazing homestay run by the most beautiful family! The location is wonderful right on the beach and walking distance to anything you need. The warung next door warung mekar is the best food I had in Bali hands down! Wayan and his family provided a delicious breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and juice and also helped me organize a snorkeling trip with a local fisherman. The homestay was extremely clean and my room was cleaned daily. The rooms AC was strong, great WiFi, clothing rack to unpack, and even a mini fridge. I’ll definitely be back to Amed and to stay here again 1,000,000/10 experience!

I had an amazing stay at Babu Racock in Amed! The rooms are incredibly spacious, equipped with everything you need—AC, fan, fridge, a comfortable bed, and a very roomy bathroom. The view from the room is absolutely mesmerizing, especially at sunrise and sunset. Owner and his family were so welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home right away. Wayung shared fantastic recommendations for all the best local attractions and activities, giving us tips on the best times to visit. You can even go snorkeling right in front of the rooms! One thoughtful touch was the hot water flask with coffee powder and tea bags provided in the room, so you can enjoy your drink of choice whenever you like. Room cleaning was done daily throughout our stay, keeping everything fresh and spotless. The bathroom is large enough that humidity isn’t an issue, though it doesn’t have an exhaust fan, and the shower area could use a little renovation. But honestly, it didn’t impact our stay at all—it was still comfortable and refreshing. They offer scooter rentals and helped us book everything we needed, but there was absolutely no pressure to buy any tours. Breakfast was delicious and included in our stay, and we also enjoyed a BBQ dinner there, which was a fantastic experience. Thank you, Wayung, for making our trip to Amed so memorable and enjoyable! We can’t wait to come back!

We loved our Homestay here. Great value for the money with a clean comfortable room (basics- as advertised) in good location in Amed. We wished we had stayed longer. We stayed the large top floor room with a sea view and loved the view.

The whole stay was amazing. The family is absolutely nice, they help with everything and is absolutely friendly. The homestay is on the beach, very clean and cosy and the breakfast was very good. We would definitely come again.

We immediately felt welcomed and at home. Peaceful und relaxed ambiance. Functional and clean rooms with cleaning service every day. We unfortunately didn’t have direct seaview, but the beautiful and perfect snorkeling spot really is in front of the backyard! 💙🤩 Wayan and his family are just lovely.

Accommodation set right on the beach with good snorkeling from the beach. Helpful friendly staff and lovely breakfast cooked each morning.

We stayed at Bubu for 12 days and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our travels in south east Asia. The owner Wayan and his family treat you like family and left no stone unturned to provide us a comfortable stay. We would walk right off our rooms into the beach and snorkel in the clear waters everyday. Wayan also organized a snorkelling trip and invited us to see the Galungan festival in his village The memories of Amed and Bubu Racok will stay with us forever

Everything !!! 🤩 This accomodation belongs to Wayan, a local fisherman. This is a family business. All members of the three generations are so nice, helpful, caring and smily. They have a great heart, their aim is to make their customers happy at all time. The rooms are right on the beach, 20 meters far from great snorkeling. Rooms are basics with everything needed : fridge, hot water, AC, good bed, tea/coffee. Rooms are really clean (everyday), and even though location is in Amed center (next to everything), the place is super quiet. Breakfast is really good, eggs, pancake, fresh juice, fruits, and it is so enjoyable to have it just right on the beach, in front of the sea, looking at Mount Agung (btw, even sunset can be seen from there !). There are sunbeds and bean bags you can use at all time. They offer all services : scooter rental, taxi, snorkeling equipment rental, and snorkeling trips on their typical fishing boats. All of those with good price ! This place is not a 5 stars resort, but definitely a 10 stars experience with local people. So, if you're superficial and live through instagram, get away from there 😉 But if you want to live the true life and have amazing memories from your stay in Amed, this is definitely THE place ! And all of this for such a cheap price... WAOUUUHHH !!
