Location and the owner, hot water and air conditioner worked well, but only because we were upgraded. The room we booked didn’t have aircon that worked

Our room was clean but the rest of the property was dirty. Construction underway and very noisy at night. We got stuck because of the sheer amount of people trying to get to temple that we couldn’t get out of the hotel on occasion because of the narrow alleyways

Estancia maravillosa en Maa Durga Inn ¡Tuvimos una estancia fantástica en Maa Durga Inn! Todo fue genial y nos sentimos muy cómodos durante toda la visita. Uno de los aspectos más destacables fue la amabilidad y disposición del dueño. Llegamos muy temprano por la mañana (alrededor de las 6 a.m.) y amablemente nos permitió hacer el check-in de inmediato y nos dio la habitación, algo que agradecimos muchísimo después de un viaje largo. Aunque solo nos quedamos una noche, nuestro tren salía a las 10 p.m. del día siguiente, y nos permitió dejar el equipaje, ducharnos e incluso descansar en una habitación libre antes de ir a la estación. Este tipo de hospitalidad marca una gran diferencia en días tan agotadores. La azotea tiene unas vistas preciosas del Ganges, perfectas para relajarse y disfrutar del paisaje. Nos sentimos muy a gusto y bien atendidos durante toda la estancia. ¡Muy recomendable!

I had a room without A/C only with a fan but the room is cool and the air conditioning was not missing. The hot water works well, the towel is changed daily, free bottled water, clean, white linen. The manager will help you with any information, speaks good English...

Great value accommodation, within easy walking distance of the ghats, allowing easy access to evening Aarti ceremony and to boat trips. Basic room, but clean and with consistent hot water and fan. Owner was exceptionally generous, allowing me the use of the room free of charge for 6 hours after the advertised check-out time.

Good location...

Very close to the ghats and central areas, comfortable, clean room, and a very helpful host. My most comfortable and clean stay so far in India. The host was really helpful ensuring I would get to the airport without any problems, walking me to a tuk-tuk instructing the driver where a cab would pick me up, and calling the cab to make sure I was picked up. I also arrived early in the morning at got a room right away as there was already a one availeble (actually with a free upgrade). Nice gestures all the way.
