No restaurant nearby and can’t do cooking. Only have microwave

Excellent service, we felt so welcome at this hotel! The owners were so kind, they were even willing to accommodate our lack of Japanese language skills. The breakfast on the porch in the morning was such a treat, highly recommended it. Also, the location was great, the room had an amazing view of the Tama Rive Gorge! The room was well equipped and roomy. I also liked that it was within walking distance of the river walk and other sites.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, and we managed to communicate across the language barrier. The location right next to the river was glorious, and our breakfast was excellent.

The website was slightly misleading - there were 3 residents on our floor, not just us. This wasn't a problem, it just wasn't what we expected.

I liked the breakfast overlooking the beautiful river! It was delicious and a great start to our hike the next day. The owners were very friendly and accommodating.

This is one of those cases where I feel I lack the words to express how beautiful of an experience this place was by itself. The greenery view from the room window, attentiveness of the hosts, the handmade food they serve, everything was heartwarming.

Everything was great there. My room on the 1st floor with traditional futon bed was not big, but comfortable. It looked exactly as on booking photos. The view and river sound from the balcony was amazing. The couple managing this hotel are so nice people, even though we speak different languages I felt so comfortable. They also serve breakfast for additional 1000 yen and it is delicious Japanese breakfast on green balcony with flowers and cats with mountain view. I was really pleased to stay there.

I stayed in a comfortable, spacious room with a beautiful view looking out onto the river. The space was quiet and peaceful (you can hear the river) and it felt very private. The hosts were both so friendly and accommodating, I felt at home straight away! Breakfast and dinner were delicious - this was my first time experiencing a traditional Japanese breakfast and I loved it! The dining room was cosy with lovely views of Mount Mitake. The location is also very convenient, it’s just a short walk from Mitake station, and there are bus stops nearby to take you up to the mountain.

extremely nice and helpful owners. Large rooms with private bathroom and kitchen. excellent breakfast (the best 1000¥ I’ve spent on Japan).
