The staff was good

The location was way off. The place was not clean. It had insects. They said the breakfast kitchen was closed. They had 1 auto for 10 people. The place was 1 km away. The coffee and sugar had ants.

Beautiful view of the balcony and super friendly and welcoming staff.

The rooms were pretty nice and spacious. Had a balcony with a nice view. Decent furnishing and decor. Has a second bed on a loft, my kid loved that.

Location is not great. It's far away from all restaurants and shops. Up a steep hill and driving up that hill is scary. Many cars struggle through that slope. Then they have a huge flight of stairs to climb, hence not at all suitable for people with limited mobility (like aged folks). They should be mentioning this in their description. Had absolutely nothing as service. No food options available. They can't even hear up food if you bring from outside.

Ok price for value

The pictures on the booking site are outdated. There are many other houses around the property now, so the view is not as shown in the photos. We were provided with two small blankets, which wasn’t very convenient. The hot water was inconsistent, sometimes working and sometimes not. Reaching the property is also challenging, as it’s up a steep driveway — which can be difficult if you have a suitcase. This place is not suitable for people with children or for those who don’t like climbing stairs.

Staff are very kind and helpful. Very responsive and brought us whatever we needed. The view is stunning and in a peaceful area.

The place is generally not clean. We felt everything was dirty and damp which made the room uncomfortable. Dirty cushions on the bed and on the chairs outdoors. Dirty blankets to sleep with that have not been washed which you need as it gets cold during the night. Floor, bathroom, mugs, plates and cutlery all dirty. I think it should be noted that it is very difficult for cars to drive up to the entrance of the property, our taxi could not make it up and we had a lot of stuff and it is a long way to get to the room. The staff kindly helped us with our bags up and down. Also I think that the property should let you know before you’re stay that they are doing construction and there is a lot of noise during the day. The view is so beautiful and the room has a lot of potential.

The closest you can be to town without the music and noise from town disturbing your stay. That does mean a walk up a hill, but tuktuks are cheap and readily available. I even saw fireflies one evening walking back from town!
