Seagreen Guesthouse - Galle Fort

Location, cleanliness & attention to details.

It was our second time in this property. It had an excellent rooftop from where u could enjoy the ocean if u wished to avoid the extreme sun exposure of galle fort. The room was so big and the washroom was neat and clean. All the amenities were perfect.

They had a common space area from where u can enjoy the breeze coming from the ocean but they close it in the evening. I didn’t experience such covered space in any places! It's like a grave house at night. No space for air passing! Really suffocating.

Great location in the fort, comfortable room and especially nice bathroom for the price.

The school was so loud in the morning, from 6:45am they were blasting music. They told us it was loud but I think they undersold it. Also we wanted to leave our bags there for a few hours post checkout but the staff were quite unhelpful and didn't let us keep them in a back room or storage, so we had to leave them out in the open in the lobby.

The lady on counter was not soo friendly. the price for meals are soo high . the bedsheets was not white . they don’t have the place for smoking.

Amazing location and nice roof terrace. The bed was comfortable too. Good value.

The room was a bit dark

This is a modest guesthouse but the staff, location and food make it unforgettable. We had 4 nights there and ate there twice. The dinners were beautiful. One of my Sri Lankan highlights has been sitting on the roof or the other out door space sipping a cocktail and watching the community at play in the huge park opposite - and the sunsets!. The staff are overwhelmingly helpful and kind. It is within the fort and only 100 metres near a swimming beach.

For the price you pay, nothing.

Excellent location inside Galle Fort, just a couple of minutes walk from many attractions and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely roof top bar as well. Room was lovely, very spacious and all facilities were very good.
