Katsura-san is a great host and we had a fantastic time during our stay. Location is super close to Nijo-Jo castle, several fancy restaurants and walking distance to subway. The apartment was super clean, had all the facilities required and Katsura-san spend a long time chatting with us and making our stay wonderful.

A beautiful 440 year old traditional Japanese home. It was cosy and clean, we enjoyed our stay and it is located perfectly.

Katsura-san is an excellent host, and prepared information for us to aid in travelling. He was very kind, and despite not speaking English fluently, communicated smoothly. The room was very clean and large, and was cleaned every day. Furthermore, the location is quiet and excellent - a great place from which to enjoy Kyoto!

The hospitality was simply outstanding, the host prepared several DVDs for me to watch on my planned sightseeing activities and was extremely helpful during the stay. It was a very unique experience.

The host, Katsura-san, showed great hospitality and gave us much privacy. He gave us food recommendations around the area. He even took time to bring us around for Gion Matsuri and explained everything to us patiently. The room was spacious and the futons were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!
