It was a Japanese experience. Surprisingly sleeping on futons was ok, and our backs were feeling excellent the day after. It is a typical Japanese house and that made it a really good experience. The host has a translating machine and communication worked fine. He is a very nice man and provided maps and printed pictures for us.

The host sleeps in the next room, so for very loving or loud couples this isn't the place.
