The whole experience was fantastic. The hosts welcomed us with a traditional welcome drink. The dinner was delicious and all local produce, some foraged from the mountain and grown in the family’s garden. We were made to feel really welcome. One of the best experiences we have had in Japan.

"A special experience; worthwhile and worth the price"

This is a special experience. You get to experience the hospitality of a home stay in a 200 year old thatched roof house. The dinner and breakfast were perfect and our host was congenial and shared his musical instruments with us. The town is lovely....small enough for a one night stay.

I had no complaints at all!

Hosts were friendly and served us very well. Food was great. Opp a souvenir store where we bought a bottle of Sake to go with our dinner.
