I'm not accustomed to sitting on the floor or futon beds but the host went out of his way to make me comfortable.

Delicious food (vegetarian on request), very friendly hosts, surprisingly fast WiFi, lovely tatami rooms, modern toilets

Both dinner and breakfast ( Japanese style) were so delicious. They were cooked and served with so much care and attention. The owners shared some stories about the area and this heritage house. It's a lot more quiet and peaceful than Shirakawago. We really enjoyed our stay. We would love to stay there again.

Please, we enjoyed our stay with Cooney and Toriko. They were a great host, very generous with her time and provided a warm and friendly welcome. The food was great, and the entertainment very special.

we really enjoyed the quiet place and the landscape. The bedroom was very confortable, the meal was delicious. The owners welcomed us very warmly and they explained us a lot about the house and the traditions.

Everything was amazing! The hosting couple were super friendly and really cared and made us feel at home. Kuni, the host, explained some folk tales as well, and the house felt like a smaller version of the houses at shirikawa-go so it really made the whole experience of visiting both places much better. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful traditional Gassho house. Simple but with all the necessary modern amenities.
