Palms Promenade Luxury Rooms

Great spacious room. Some trouble w air con but ok. Great location

Simply one of the best locations you can find in Split. Whichever way you turn, you are right in the middle of it. Everything is at your feet plus the ocean view is just fantastic. We were greeted by Karlo and he explained everything regarding the property and provided a list of restaurants, places of interest and activities you can do. Very well received. Just be prepared to carry your luggage up a number of stairs/floors which was a surprise. There is no lift. When you are not travelling light, sure does take it out of you. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. Only thing I would say, it would have been nice to have more towels and pillows. I would be more than happy to stay there again.

Very clean and comfortable right in the heart of the city. We had a room on the rear which was lovely and quiet.

The hot water seemed to run out one evening and didn’t warm up the morning we left.

Exactly what we expected. City centre, close to shops, bars and restaurants.

Karlo went to extra effort to meet us at a convenient place and escort us to our room. We came in late in the evening and he accommodated us well. Karlo also recommended some local restaurants he knew of within a short distance of the apartment , all which were excellent! He made us look like the “Split” expert traveler of our group -very cool guy!!

The entry to the Palms Promenade Apartments, looks sketchy -dark unlit entry off of the Riva, with graffitied pockets-marked tile walks, but once you enter the main entry door, things look better every flight of stairs (3) you go up. Everything looks a beautiful after the first flight if steps!

We booked two rooms in July 2024. When we arrived it was clear the A/C wasn’t working. So we called for help and it finally arrived. He got the A/C to blow under the bed but it was better than nothing. He then sent a “repairman” over next day and while he got one room up and running it then caused the second room to have no A/C at all. When we opened windows just to get ventilation the smells of the alley came charging into the rooms. So we couldn’t keep windows open either. The bathrooms then smelled due to it. The rooms are clean and pictures are true however in the intense July heat in the city having no A/C is not acceptable. Not for the price we paid. The owner or his broker offered $100. That’s insulting again given how much we paid. I am disputing the charges with my credit card company. Don’t advertise A/C if you can’t deliver. Bottom line.

The apartment was beautifull! Very clean and well designed and decorated. And the location right on the Riva was fantastic. Easy walking to everything - waterfront restaurants, the old town, ferries, bus, the open market. The only negative is the entry area. It’s in an unlit, dark alley with graffiti, kind of scary, especially at night. And the stairwell to the room is grimy with some graffiti too. So we were very apprehensive at our first impression, and pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous the actual room was! Would definitely stay there again.

The quality of the room. It oozed class. The assistance given to us by Toma. His communication with us was first class. The location was brilliant - right in the centre of all the action.

It far exceeded our expectation, so there really isn’t anything for us to add.

Incredibly difficult to find. No signage. We only found it because someone standing nearby was familiar with the property, otherwise we were lost.
