Loft Taipas

Our host was very friendly and kind, this is definitely more of an "airbnb" style apartment. The location is good and she met us when we arrived and allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment before check in so we could start exploring while the cleaners were working which was a huge help! She was also very responsive on whats app and sent us a few recs! The apartment itself is large and very nice. it has a washer & a nice kitchen, she stocked the fridge with a few breakfast things and gave us a welcome drink of port.

This was a nice place to stay for a few days!

A very spacious loft apartment in a fabulous location with good access to transport and all the main attractions, restaurants, and bars. You really are in the thick of it. Our host was welcoming and friendly. Some lovely touches, including Pasteis de Nata and port on arrival.

It is a 27/7 location, which meant at times it could be noisy. While completely out of our hosts' control, there is a lot of regeneration and building work locally.

Gefallen hat uns eigentlich alles. Die Lage ist super - alles fußläufig erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist mit allem reichlich ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem. Schön war der große Raum mit Parkett und der Tisch, den man zum Billardtisch umbauen kann. Herzlichen Dank an Claudia und Laura für die Pastel de Nata und den Portwein als Willkommensgruß. Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit Frühstücksutensilien, das kann man sich mit ein paar frischen Zutaten noch ergänzen. Es hat mehrere gute Restaurants und Bars in der Umgebung, auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Da gibt es nichts.

Accueil avec de délicates attentions. L'appartement est très bien situé au coeur de la ville. Endroit charmant et confortable. et la ville est magnifique !

un petit peu bruyant la nuit... on entend les voitures et motos qui passent mais c'est normal car on est vraiment au centre. Et cela reste correct, on s'habitue...

TOUT ! L'appartement en lui-même au cœur du centre historique de Porto, dans un vieil immeuble typique de la ville. Sa taille avec ses 2 petits balconnets, ses équipements. Nous étions avec nos 3 enfants pour 12 jours et avons eu largement de la place. C'est un grand loft sans murs entre les différents couchages mais cela n'était pas gênant pour nous. Tout était très bien agencé. Il a fait très chaud dans Porto mais il y avait des ventilateurs bien pratiques qui fonctionnaient bien. Le petit déjeuner était prévu dans le frigo pour toute la durée du séjour (Claudia nous a même proposé un réassort en milieu de séjour mais nous n'en avions pas besoin car les quantités étaient suffisantes !) c'était parfait pour nous. Nous n'avons pas pu rencontrer Claudia mais la communication était excellente. L'appartement était propre. Petite précision : l'appartement étant situé en plein cœur du centre historique de Porto, le bruit des voitures, camions, motos, peut être assez gênant surtout dès le matin assez tôt. Il faut savoir qu'à Porto il y a énormément de circulation dans les rues et à toute heure (et roulent très très vite !), bcp de passage, de klaxon sans compter les nombreux (gros) travaux en cours dans la ville actuellement etc. Donc oui c'est bruyant mais l'appartement n'y est pour rien c'est la contre partie de l'emplacement au top ! Point positif de l'emplacement : tout se fait à pied à proximité immédiate et malgré le bazar ambiant dans les rues, ça reste top et beau ! Nous recommandons vivement l'appartement de Claudia si vous souhaitez séjourner au cœur de la ville historique de Porto.

The property was clean although damp with black mould on the walls. The location was good although noisy from 6am.

Poor service from host, if a shuttle service is offered in the description it should be available. The breakfast was very, very poor. Long life milk, cheap ham and cheese, no teabags, nothing fresh, bread run out on second day and the host directed us to bread in the freezer which looked like it had been left by previous occupants, contacted the host and asked for fresh bread she left two bags of bread for the last two days, awful. No fruit as stated. This was described as exceptional !! No outside space was shown to us, no bikes, balcony was about a foot wide, fit only for flowers not for sitting in. These things were detailed in the description but did not exsist. No restaurant as stated in description. The bathroom fan did not work, the electric were poor with a switch missing off the wall and wires showing, A lot of bits and pieces in the property which were just collecting dust. If the description had been actuate we would never have picked this property. Upsetting to have all this spoiling our holiday. I have pictures to prove every point. The property is on a busy road and noisy especially from 6am in the morning. No daily housekeeping as stated. The description of this property is completely false.
