Unfortunately, Anchors Rest Guest House and Self Catering is unable to accommodate bookings for stag/hen parties or school leavers ('Matric Rage'). Any such bookings will be canceled, with no refund given. The hotel apologizes for any inconvenience. Please note that the total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking for 1-night stays. Anchor's Rest is a small owner-run and managed Guest House. Check-in time is from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekdays, and from 14:00 to 18:00 over the weekend. The property cannot accommodate late check-ins.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

A very peaceful guesthouse with beautiful grounds, a pool and nicely appointed self catering units. The location was ideal, close enough to be able to walk to shops and restaurants but away from traffic and other noise. There is secure parking on site which was a bonus. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
