Unfortunately, Anchors Rest Guest House and Self Catering is unable to accommodate bookings for stag/hen parties or school leavers ('Matric Rage'). Any such bookings will be canceled, with no refund given. The hotel apologizes for any inconvenience. Please note that the total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking for 1-night stays. Anchor's Rest is a small owner-run and managed Guest House. Check-in time is from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekdays, and from 14:00 to 18:00 over the weekend. The property cannot accommodate late check-ins.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Endroit très sécurisé à deux pas du centre, de bons restaurants de fruits de mer."

Jolie maison â deux pas de la ville et de la mer. Les hôtes charmantes , décoration soignée des chambres. Un havre de paix. Bon petit déjeuner, une adresse à garder sur la région de Durban .

Well positioned within walking distance of the restaurants of Umhlanga. Adequate parking on site, a nice little room and well presented breakfast.

Bed was a little small but comfy. Nothing else. All round a lovely stay

All staff were very friendly and helpful. We could walk to the the beach, nice restaurants, shopping mall..etc. Garden was beautiful and it was nice and relaxing to sit outside.

We satyed at the first floor, so it was bit hard to carry down and up our suitcases.

The staff, especially Tabeta (sorry spelling is probably incorrect) were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy. The breakfast was fabulous, especially the omelette! The location was within a 5/7 min walk of local bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Lovely decorated. Curtesy bar and in a lovely setting.

I would prefer a fan instead of a sitcom in the room. Not any fresh air in the room as there is no privacy if heavy curtains are not drawn.
