Unfortunately, Anchors Rest Guest House and Self Catering is unable to accommodate bookings for stag/hen parties or school leavers ('Matric Rage'). Any such bookings will be canceled, with no refund given. The hotel apologizes for any inconvenience. Please note that the total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking for 1-night stays. Anchor's Rest is a small owner-run and managed Guest House. Check-in time is from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekdays, and from 14:00 to 18:00 over the weekend. The property cannot accommodate late check-ins.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

"My stay was very nice, relaxing, just as I needed."

Property was beautiful. Quiet and secure. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding with fresh fruits, juices along with the omelette I ordered.

There was some traffic, but that is not really a reflection of the stay.

This was damn terrible they robbed me for my money and didn't give me a refund first they say that my payment wasn't made and then they say that they can't refund me after I made other arrangements to live somewhere else and this white lady has pathetic work ethics and is very unprofessional God damn she don't even know what day of the week it is her name is merlyn

I hate the staff with they attitude problems

I felt like at home from the first moment! Each detail is taken into account. Everything is extremely cleaned. All you need is available. There are private and common spaces. Central location but quiet area.

What a gem in Durban Umhlanga , not far away from malls , restaurant and Umhlanga Rocks . The owner and Staff members are over the top. We stayed in Jasmine and everything was clean and the beds comfortable, also we stayed a bit over the check out time with no pressure to leave. Felt like visiting a nice family member ♥️ all the best for you
