"Superb"

The view from the balcony is really beautiful. The rooms are simple but clean. The owner offers tea and bananas for free.

There are stains on the wall from the humidity but as we’ve experienced, many places have that same issue

Very clean and comfortable room, situated in a quiet area. Nice sea view and the best restaurant in Sri Lanka is nearby.

The location is very nice and quiet directly at the beach. There are some nice restaurants around. The beach is still a local beach which is very beautiful. The room was nice and very clean. For the price this is a very nice place. The garden could need a bit of decoration, then it would be also a nice place to hang around. What I loved is that the hotel is run by a local which means that this place will improve step by step. We also did a tuktuk tour around matara, the temple, light house and harbour with a very nice friend of the host. Make sure to ask for Summith, he'll show you the best places.

Close to bus stop

No one else was there - host left after passing keys on (had his whatsapp). Charger ports were different kind to what we've seen everywhere so couldn't charge phones
