Very clean and pretty new building and rooms (building in progress, but various rooms on the first floor are available and ready) beach view from your (spacious) balcony. Kitchen-like arrangement next to rooms. Large bathroom (new). No hot shower, but hey, who needs one here? 😊😊 Beach without the usual crowdedness. We were all alone during our stay. Nice waves nice view of Matara small island with Buddhist tempel. Very friendly and hospitable owner. Helpful and very communicative.

WLAN was deactivated. But you can purchase a sim card and enjoy connectivity all over the island so easily and cheap, it didn't matter to us (but information about non-availability should be updated).

A very comfortable and clean place to stay for one night, close to the bus station, but about the quietest place we've ever stayed! Balcony overlooking the beach. The owner was very helpful and friendly too. Very close to a great restaurant too, all in all it's the perfect place to stay in Matara.

No complaints!

Was near de beach. You can jump from the balcony to the beach.

The build was under construction and we didn't had fridge, kitchen and the downstairs was no space arranged to sit outside.
