Myamo Beach Lodge

Beautiful property on a stunning beach. The building has a great design and feel to it. Surrounded by coconut trees and view opens out onto the beach. Modern clean rooms with a fresh design. Ocean suit upstairs with a great patio with a view. Very comfy bed. Efficient AC, plus a ceiling fan (we love this combo, tho usually simply opt for fan only, as in June is not humid). Breaky; menu offers Continental, American, English and Indonesian options. But we were told only Continental was available. So, a choice of pancakes or bread basket, plus fruit plate & a Lombok coffee.

Bad odour in bathroom; drains need cleaning. Staff were pleasant, though not super friendly or proactive.

The location is just stunning. This may be the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. And the staff it’s absolute best.

The bathroom smelled, and the internet was awful. For remote workers that’s a problem. Especially in days of Starlink, that shouldn’t happen.

The location was amazing, right on the beach. The room was very comfortable and clean.

The room actually looks like the photos and the beach is gorgeous on high tide as well as being able to see Mt Rinjani.

We booked here for 4 night and ended up leaving a day early due to the bathrooms unhygienic stench that was there from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was out of pretty much everything we tried to order, even large bottles of water on our last night. The wifi barley works in the room and the prices for scooters or drivers were super expensive compared to Bali and Lombok. The driver we got through the hotel also tried to scam us. I don’t know if this place was better before COVID but our experience here really put a downer on our holiday. Safe to say we won’t be staying here again.

Low stock for the menu, limited food in the area was the only downside- the staff were excellent though!

The location is great ! Right by the ocean .. if this property would be well maintained it would be an absolute dream !

The maintenance was poor. The staff didn’t speak good English and needed a long time to understand our ‘normal’ requests. They seemed not well trained from the management. There was a lack of hospitality, which would make a place like this amazing! The food was really bad and for what it was super pricey. It seemed like the hotel charged for the ‘front row’ beach position but the rooms, the food, the service and the cleanliness are not worth the money. I don’t want to make this place look bad, but I hope a review like this makes the owners wake up and put some more love in their premium spot !
