Perfect place to stay if you want to visit the Tusheti region. We were there 2 nights, and explored the region for another 5 days. They offer dinner and breakfast (we’ve had dinner and the food is homemade and delicious) They offered to come get us in Alvani and we felt very safe during the drive. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Lia and Irakli are wonderful hosts. Irakli drove us safely to and from Alvani and handled the challenging road with ease. He's very attentive and trustworthy. The guesthouse is cozy, although it gets quite cold in late September, so warm clothes are essential. Thick blankets are provided. Hot water is available on sunny days, but can be heated upon request if needed, which takes some time. You can add breakfast and dinner, and they kindly prepared special meal for me when I wasn't feeling well. Tusheti is a tough destination, but Guesthouse Omalo made us feel comfortable and welcome.

Thin walls so it was possible to hear everything in next room, limited breakfast.

- Very delicious food with many options, including a lot of veggie dishes. - Very hospitality hosts, who are ready to help you anytime. - No problems with hot water in rooms. - Quality blankets for dealing with the local climate. - It wouldn't be a problem to buy water before hikes here. - There're a lot of handmade souvenir options in the lobby.

- There are no working sockets in the room, but there are many available sockets in the lobby. - It would be great to add some shelves in bathrooms as well as liquid soap dispensers.

Tidy clean rooms with very warm blankets, really delicious breakfast with khachapuri, local pie and other traditional dishes. The atmosphere is so authentic and the family is so friendly.

A lovely family guesthouse with warm and generous people. The location and view were great and the breakfasts and dinners were abundant and very tasty. Their house wine is highly recommended. They helped us with everything we needed and more.
