Guesthouse Omalo

Incredible view with a warm, welcoming host and family. Above and beyond, with great food!

Irakli provides transportation between Alvani and Omalo, and we felt super safe with him behind the wheel. He knows every pebble on that road, was rock solid and focused throughout the drived. (He also speaks excellent Spanish!) His wife runs the guesthouse, which was clean and cozy, and is an excellent cook. They were both very helpful and flexible. We had a great stay with them.

Amazing location, in the heart of Touchetie, close to the hiking paths. The garden is wonderful, the environment is quiet, the view is breathtaking. The family is very welcoming! They can organise a horse riding excursion on request. Breakfast and dinner are great and really worth it. Absolute recommendation!

Clean and comfortable stay in the mountains. The guesthouse hosts were welcoming and friendly and made sure to cater for everything. The food was incredible and the area even more amazing! I would highly recommend a stay here.

Great and pleasant stay at the hotel. Food was good with very generous portions. Bed and private bathroom was perfectly fine

The place is simple but very nice. it's quite, the view from the garden is beautiful. The family that own the place are nice and very helpful. our little boy made connection with the family cute girl and he had a great time. there is table with amazing herbs tea and coffee free. The value for the price is great I think it's much better than places in upper omalo, that is more expensive and crowded.

It was so nice to stay at this friendly guesthouse! The rooms are clean and cozy, everything you need for a good night of sleep. Both dinner and breakfast are plentiful and very tasty. The hosts were so sweet to pack us our leftovers from breakfast to take with us for our way down from Tusheti. The last night of our stay us and the other guests were hanging out at the fireplace outside for some time, and they provided us with freshly made popcorn. So nice! It was as if staying with family! Thank you!! ❤️

Bike friendly. Be sure to stay at this guesthouse. The hostess here is friendly and prepares delicious breakfast and dinner. There are also wonderful views of the mountains.

Absolutely EVERYTHING. The location was unbelievable, the view from the house, peace and quite, it was incredible. The hosts were very kind, polite and generous. They even picked us up from the airport, which trust me was a really long drive. Their daughter was really helpful as well. They accommodated all of our requirements. Gave us fresh fruits during the day. Now about the food, it was just WOW. They really spoiled us with choices and quantity, along with homemade wine. We had breakfasts and dinners with them, didn't have to look outside for options. Even if we wanted, we couldn't have replicated the taste and experience of their food in any restaurant. It was some of the best we had in Georgia. The rooms were modest, and has the most comfortable beds. Very cozy establishment. I would recommend everyone to stay with them.
