Laletsa Lodge

The food was the only good thing about the place. The pool was off no use to us because when my daughter went in to play at around 4pm.. We were asked to go the kiddies pool because they just dropped in a tablet to clean it!

Was given a room that was the size of my bathroom at home. I had around R4900 for 3 nights.. For a 4 sleeper. As you enter.. There was a double bed and next to it a contraption that was in the wall.. Once opened.. There was no place to walk past into the toilet... Which was 2 steps away... The small bar fridge was in the way once the contraption bed was opened! Oh yes.. I did ask if there were other units when I was this one and was told NO.. alla are booked! Once my 7 year old daughter and I slept on the contraption bed.. We sunk inn immediately.. Our heads and legs were in the air and the middle of our bodies sunk inn! I tried to sleep for like an hour but my entire shoulder and neck got hooked. I called reception and the lovely lady there said she will move us to another room.. This was around half 1 in the morning... My daughter was so scared and it was too late to move her.. So my mum and dad took their stuff and went to the other room. My daughter and jumped onto their bed. I forgot to to mention that I asked for a refund and the boy from reception said that they will sort us out! The next morning after breakfast. I asked what's going on and he said that he will move us to an apartment! This however will have to be done in ten afternoom.. After they clean the unit as someone just checked out! We went out and I called twice to see what was going on as we wanted to go to Gateway and spend the entire afternoon! Around 2 or 3 we came back to the place.. To move our belongings to the other apartment! This apartment was bigger.. But was terrible also.. Old, dirty, the toilet and bathroom was the worst.. Toilet was so disgusting! Everything was old and grimy! The windows in all the rooms were jammed... Couldn't close them at night.. Mosquitoes and insects kept coming in! I had to take towels and stuff into the gaps in the room that my daughter and I slept in! Besides all of this...

It's nice cosy place. Location is very central.

The location of the property is good

The property needs serious revamping. It’s very outdated. The extra blanket had a very unpleasant smell and we couldn’t use it.
