Batad Lhorens Inn and Restaurant

Welcomed by a nice couple and their family, location is great, right on the start of the path to trek around Batad rice terraces. You can take a hot shower and have a great food, well cook by Lorhen with fresh, tasty and organic products. They also provide services as tout guide, massage, etc ...

Amazing views over the Batad rice terraces and the host was very friendly and lovely, helping with transport also. Lovely food including the local rice.

As expected slightly more rudimentary toilet and shower facilities, but everything was very clean. Beds were too firm for me after a long day of walking the terraces!

Very friendly family living in a lovely village. Rooms were clean & tidy, they gave us free WiFi coupons. Food was delicious & let us harvest a couple of pomelo.

For what can be expected in Batad, Lhorens Inn and Restaurant provides good rooms, appropriate facilities, and great food at good prices. Lhoren is very friendly and accommodating. Given the location we were also surprised to not find as many insects or bugs as one might expect. The specific location within Batad is great, about halfway down, providing good walking access to the local attractions and activities.

The mosquito net had plenty of large holes. Also, not so much a criticism on Lhorens Inn and Restaurant, but Batad itself; you are staying in an incredibly rural area, and will likely be woken at dawn by the chickens, and if you're unlucky with the weather there would be nothing to do.
