Poor signage but easy to find. Turn left, find the school and head down. Everyone knows where it is, so just ask

"Basic but lovely place!"

Great location just minutes away from the rice terraces, lovely family with adorable kids, cat and dog, wifi available (3 hours for 10 peso), beautiful view from balcony and rooftop, decent food options available. Everything is very basic but considering the price the value is still good. Would definately recommended this place but expect to go a bit back to basic!

Room did not have wall outlet (only in common area) and fan. Bathroom and toilet are very basic and down the stairs. Remote place, not easy to get to from Banaue (45 minute jeepney and 20 minute trek). For our short stay and taking into account the price those things were no huge issues.

Nice food Wifi available because there is no reception in the village (5 pesos for 1 hour). Spring water 5 mins walking from the guesthouse

Transports cannot reach the village and will leave you at the beginning of the road. The way is very steep so be prepared!!

"Very basic but absolutely lovely place"

Staying at Lhoren's was a treat. She was great to talk to and very good cook. She also helped with a lot of arrangements (guide, tricycle, etc). The accomodation is extremely basic, you only get a bed in your room but sleeping is the only thing you'll be doing indoors anyway. The view from the top terrace is breathtaking and there's a shop rather close, just 30 stairs away (there aren't many in the village so that is a plus).

- rather noisy for people with sensitive sleep. roosters are up very early and they make sure everybody else is too. If there's a wedding as well, you're toast :) - some hooks to hang clothes/towels in the rooms and in the shower room would be terrific

Easy location, up high in the town with an exceptional view from the roof top seating area, one of the best in town. The hosts treat you as though you are one of their family.
