"Lovely sunny spot and does what it says on the tin, short walk to beach, great weeks stay"

9.0

Handy for the short walk to east cliffs and town, private, nice secluded garden, comfortable, well equipped. Good public transport, handy stops nearby.

The distance from parked car and having to carry everything round the corner, was a bit of struggle (elderly). The toilet was too close to bed, no privacy and it needs a solid sliding door. The tv signal was hit and miss. Think a to do list of bus times, how to work cooker etc would be good. There was one remote type thing and not a clue what is was for. Adequate equipment, only one egg cup and could do,with small sharp knife. First time we have done this type of holiday, always had a caravan, so a steep learning curve. Lots of traffic passing but didn’t bother us. But on the whole all good

"Snug as a bug."

Was a nice place being self contained, 15 to 20 minutes slow walk to centre.

"Garden shed"

4.0

Nothing

The property could do with repainting, grubby in a lot of places. It was like being in your grandparents garden shed.very noisy as on main road/bus route. Counted 13 Street lights/Road sign lights outside,it made it just as bright by night as daytime.

"Came here for a lovely restful break, but didn’t feel we had this at the property."

5.0

The Snug was near to the beach. We were able to park on site.

The property looked quite grubby and tired. Not sure about the really dirty stained floor! The welcome pack was ok! Would have liked some milk, tea etc as had travelled and did not know the area for shops etc. The containers for tea coffee etc were dirty. Felt we had to clean before we used anything. Only being able to book in at 5pm, it was then a rush to get ready to walk to get dinner. The shower room was a disaster as there was no where to put anything or even hang wet/damp towels to dry. Had to move the coffee table to give us somewhere to put things. There was even a gap between the sliding door and the wardrobe where you could see someone in the shower especially with the fan and light on! Had to use a bath towel to cover the gap! The property is on a busy double decker bus route so had to keep curtains drawn. Would have been nice if a bit more thought and care could have been given to the property. Would have liked some personal touches from owners during our stay.

"A taste of the old English seaside."

A superb location with all the facilities required. Cromer and the surrounding towns are very quaint and easily accessible to walk to. Would recommend the Red Lion for food. Archiethe dog loved it.

"A lovely little stay at the snug, comfortable setting, good facilities re cooker etc, fantastic shower bed very comfy an"

9.0

Small but comfortably enough space for 2 people, all facilities at the accommodation were very good shower hot and powerful, comfy sofa

After many suggestions they still haven’t put a towel rail in there. 2 T-towel hooks is all that’s needed so towels can be hung up not hanging on seats or curtain rail

"A cosy place to stay in a great location."

8.0

It was close to the beach and town centre. It was just the right size for two people and it was handy to have a garden for the dogs.

Heater’s are difficult to work and it could do with more lighting. The tv is small and very poor signal. The bathroom door keeps sliding open so you have to keep the curtains shut.
