The Snug, Cromer, a short walk to the beach.

Location

Dog could get down the side of the property where there is a deep dyke. There was no TOILET ROLL had to find a supermarket as soon as we arrived. TOILET ROLL would have been more useful than the two cans of sparkling water provided. Two wine glasses one of which was badly cracked informed contact with no replacement. Dirty tissue found in the side of the settee gross had hairs on it. Lack of cleaning detail dust cobwebs dead insects.

It was so clean, it was big enough for the two of us. Everything you could need was there cutlery, plates, bowls, utensils. They had a kettle and toaster. Small oven and two ring cooker. They thought of everything washing up liquid and hand soap.

The TV was a little hit and miss but that wasn’t a big issue.

The enclosed garden was nice but there was a gap down the side which was not ideal for the dog as there was a drop and water hidden in the overgrown area.

15 minutes walk to beach.

Parking at adjoining property so you have to transport all your stuff from car, around the corner to a gate and then into the property. Cobwebs throughout the property. Gate did not lock so not a secure garden. The Yale lock needs replacing with something better. Very basic cooking equipment so best eat out to be honest. Road is quite noisy due to the fact it’s right next to a mini island and the local hospital. The grass needed mowing.

Was close to town ,you had all facilities to hand

Only one towel for a four night stay,the slide doors to bathroom not great condition, out door light not working

Would have been a nice touch to include milk on arrival to make a drink and finalise with some flowers 🌹 or maybe wine 🍷 . It’s these small extras which make the difference between basic and better. Other than that accommodation satisfactory. 😊

The location is perfect and the room is very spacious and comfortable

The cooking facilities are very disappointing

The Snug was an ideal size for 2. Good off road parking which was ideal. The property is within easy walking distance of the town centre so walked into town most days. The Snug has a good size garden that is secluded and safe and meant that we could spend the evenings outside.
