Ranakpur Nature Retreat

This farm stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Deepak and Dinesh were very kind and welcoming upon arrival and throughout our whole stay. Not only was the room very spacious and comfortable, but the entire farm stay was very peaceful and relaxing. We were personally shown around the village and had a great time riding the bicycles with Deepak. Last but not least, the home cooked food was exceptional!! We highly recommend staying here if you’re in Ranakpur, or otherwise adjust your plans so you can come here! Thank you Deepak and Dinesh, you are friends for life.

A great farm stay near the Jain temple, the staff are extremely friendly and they clearly rolled out the metaphorical red carpet for us.

It's a bit difficult to get here. The property is on the main road, but Ranakpur isn't terribly close to anywhere but Sadri.

It was fun to use the chlorine-free pool. The staff were friendly and ready to do anything for you. The manager Mr Dinesh Tripathi was always around to help with whatever. He organised a trek to Parshuram Cave Temple and a leopard safari. Also in-room massage was available. An excellent experience.

The wifi in our rooms was poor.

We had a couple nights at Ranakpur Nature Retreat and loved it. Dinash and the staff are exceptional, the location is very peaceful, and if you’re lucky you’ll have some time for a tour of the grounds. Big, comfortable, quiet rooms. A perfect getaway from the cities.

This place is amazing! The staff is extremely welcoming and set up a leopard safari, goat farm visit, Jain temple visit, and fort visit all in one day. We told the manager Dinish that we only had one day to do all this and he made it happen! Best guy ever. If you are going to Johdpur or Udaipur you must stop here on the way, since it’s right in the middle. Not to mention it’s a farm so all the food is local and organic. They treat everyone with respect and do not try to scam you like other hotels. Thank you for the great hospitality!

We were warmly welcomed by Deepak who immediately took us on a bicycle tour through the neighborhood. We biked among the shepherd's goats, past the cheerful children who ran with us, to rural residents who were hard at work in the fields and at their homes, and to a temple where a man devoted his entire life to worship. We had dinner in good company with a small campfire. The next morning we took a leopard safari which was well arranged. All in all, an unforgettable stay because of the way we were welcomed and treated. Can highly recommend.

Our stay at Ranakpur Nature Retreat was the highlight of our three week tour of Rajasthan. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and a casually formulated question to the manager about the possibility of a leopard safari was immediately put into practice. Before we could put our luggage down, we were already sitting across from a leopard in the jeep. Our companions were very committed and we had a lot of fun on the evening safari. Back at the nature retreat we were able to enjoy an excellent dinner and after meeting the owner Deepak, the decision was made to stay 2 nights instead of 1 night. Ranakpur has more to offer than the beautiful Jain temples. The hike to Shree Parshuram Mahadev Cave was great. And the Nature Retreat is a real retreat from the sometimes turbulent India. Clean air, jungle atmosphere, nice people, playful dogs (not barking), flowers from Dhiraj in front of the door, great conversations and and and ... Summary: Stop by!!

it was ONLY two short days

Absolutely our favourite place we stayed in India. Deepak the owner was an incredible host that went above and beyond to make it the most memorable stay we had in India. The property is full of local and exotic fruits and herbs that make it a true farm stay and not just some touristic label. Ranakpur was also an incredible place to stay, just don't make the mistake we did and book only one night, you could easily spend several days here. PS the Leopard safari is incredible and you have a very high chance of seeing wild leopards (we saw baby leopard cubs).
