Absolutely perfect two-night stay. The single room was spacious compared to many others I've stayed in, bright and airy, and looked out over the church across the road. The bed was comfy, and bigger than a standard single. Plus the entire set-up was an introvert's dream. Angela was informative in messages before arrival, and quick to respond, so on arrival all I needed to do was get my room key and parking permit from the key box, then leave the keys behind when I left. Effortless, and due to the clear directions no issues at all with getting organised. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

The hosts were absolutely wonderful, going out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. They even organised on-street parking passes for the duration of our stay, which really was over and above what we expected. The proximity to the coast was also wonderful, and we were incredibly central to everywhere we wanted to visit during our stay. Can't recommend the Captains Lodge enough!

The water pressure in the shower wasn't great and it took a good 15 minutes for the water to warm up in the morning. However, this didn't affect our stay too much!

Bit difficult to find parking

Great location, clean and comfortable room. Had everything we needed. The owner was a lovely lady and was there to meet us and answer any questions we had. We had Lovely weekend.

Not really a dis like, but ask for a parking permit ( if you can get parked) as the parking in nearby car parks can be expensive if you are there for a few days.
