great place to stay in Whitby close to everything would stay again

Great location. Lovely to be able to walk into town easily. Comfortable apartment, though wouldn’t call it deluxe as stated. Facilities good and good communication with owner. Appreciated the well equipped kitchen and provision of fairy liquid, dishcloth, teabags, etc. We welcomed the parking permit which was appreciated. Good standard of cleanliness and comfortable beds.

Front entrance and front garden very poorly presented and a disappointing welcome to the start of our break. Weeds everywhere and steps and front paved area required attention. The front door in need of coat of paint too. This sets a low precedent on arrival. The main bedroom had a damp smell continually, even though we were there during a hot, dry spell. Plug in air fresheners were provided and were needed but these didn’t disguise the smell sufficiently.

Nothing everything was fine

The location was excellent for access to the Pavillions where we were attending an event. The owners responded to any questions I had promptly in advance of our visit. The property was clean and tidy and beds very comfortable. Plenty of towels for 4 guests.

Some aspects of the property needed some tlc. The front of the building is overgrown and untidy and not very welcoming. The water pressure in the taps is very poor (although the showers were fine). There is a really limited amount of crockery and glasses for 4 people. There are a lot of different knobs and buttons to control heating and water and no obvious instructions available.

Maybe some small kitchen knives to chop up veg and an extra tea towel. That’s all!

Lovely clean apartment with everything you would need for a short break. Very quiet, clean and tidy. Love the room at the very top - yes there are stairs to get up to the front door and more to get to the top bedroom, but its not that bad - free gym. I would have no problem staying here again it is in a great location.

The internal doors close on you every time meaning moving around the apartment isnt the easiest for children - appreciate they are fire doors and required.
