Tate House

Location is great in the heart of Alnwick. The room was very clean and had everything you could ask for. We had room 1 which was perfect size with an ensuite shower and toilet. Clean towels and even very good soaps. There was fresh milk in the fridge and a fully functioning kitchen. The lounge area was very comfortable and cosy Look forward to returning as it was great value for money.

Only 1 thing Check out is 10am.. but I guess im used to checking out after 11am.

Location is just off the town centre - with easy walk to free car-parking - and even across to Alnwick castle and gardens. Room itself was a little unexpected - basically you are taking over the whole top floor - so the snug is down a corridor, and the bathroom is outside of the bedroom across the stairs. However, it works! It makes for a comfortable stay with the possibility to separate

At first, a little concerned that the bathroom was outside the main room - as in, passing a "public" area - but no-one else ever came up the stairs - so it all worked really well.

Parking situation isn't great, but that's to be expected.

Tate House is a pleasant house converted into accommodation. it is well located in one of the main streets of.Alnwick. It is opposite a hotel, and a big advantage is that the hotel provides free parking for guests of Tate House.

A negative for someone guests is that there are no staff on site when one arrives late in the day.

Lovely and clean, nice room and lounge in a convenient central location with good facilities.
