Tate House

Great location and the cleanest apartment we have been in for a very long time. Everything you needed was provided with plenty tea and coffee etc. Also great biscuits and chocolates 😊

The location was awesome. It had everything we needed for a night away.

Perfect location. Quiet room with extra touches, hubby loved the boiled sweets.

A mattress on the floor in the shared lounge was not ideal. On the first night our bed was definitely the worst I had slept on during our east coast trip! On the second night the ‘lounge’ mattress had disappeared and hopefully it was now in room 1, as we had a much better sleep.

It fitted the bill perfectly.

The location was great, the owner also assisted us with where to park our car. The entry and access instructions were easy to follow, The room and bathroom were clean and modern.

Our bathroom was outside our room so we were not sure if it was shared. There was no coffee or tea making facilities or fridge that we could locate. Also we did not know if we were the only ones in the house, this made me feel a little uncomfortable.

This accommodation is in a great location, walking distance from Alnwick Town Centre and Alnwick Castle and Gardens. It was spotlessly clean, with lovely little extras like biscuits, fresh milk, shampoo and conditioner. It’s self check-in, which worked well for us, as we had plans on the way to Alnwick.

Nothing to say for this part really. If we were to be very picky then it’s just the room was a little hot on our first night and with the curtains being so thick (gorgeous though!), it was difficult for the air to come in from the windows. We did just end up sitting with the curtains and windows open for a while though and it was all good.

Good location - could walk into town and instructions were easy to follow as to how to get in. Good selection of biscuits and tea and coffees in the room

Mattress in bedroom 1 sunk right down when I sat on the bed - probably needs to be replaced
