Shangri-lanka Villa

We absolutely loved staying here. It’s in a quiet part of Bentota. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, the best omelette in Sri Lanka. I highly recommend staying here.

The only thing we didn’t like was that we couldn’t stay longer.

This is a wonderful all round place to stay with lovely people and gorgeous rooms... but my favourite thing about this place is the setting of the pool - it feels so tropical and natural, surrounded by wildlife and even with a resident frog! Just beautiful and the perfect retreat.

Just remember to pre-order if you want sri lankan breakfast :-)

Great service, clean rooms, super quiet, lovely pool, very easy to get a tuktuk to town.

Highly recommended peaceful hotel. Not too many rooms, nice pool. The garden is beautiful, the rooms are huge and very comfortable. You can have breakfast on your private terrace if you want. They provide dinner, if you want to. You can order in advance and tell at what time you want it. It's very laidback. Great and very nice staff, they will help you with everything you need.

Some reviews stated a 10 minute walk to the beach. That's not our experience. To go to the beach, you have to ask the hotel to ring you a tuktuk. Just some extra information, nothing the hotel can help: at the beach there are no beach bars. There are sunbeds you can rent, but you need to bring your lunch and drinks. The beach is beautiful, very nice for a swim.

Приезжая сюда, вы попадаете не в отель, вы приезжаете в гости! Персонал окружает заботой. Здесь атмосфера полного релакса. Красивая территория, классный бассейн, ресторан с вкусной едой, СПА с массажами. Вы будете засыпать и просыпаться под звуки природы. Рохан поможет организовать все что вам может понадобиться- экскурсии, серфинг, поездки по острову или в магазинчик за фруктами или сувенирами. До пляжа минут за 5-10 доедете на тук туке. Нам так понравилось здесь что мы поменяли планы и продлили проживание. Мечтаем вернуться в будущем.

Es ist aussergewöhnlich ruhig und romantisch 🥰, in einem sehr schönen Tropengarten. Ich suchte Ruhe und ich fand sie. Ich kann diese schönen, grossen, mit Liebe 🧡 eingerichteten Zimmer nur empfehlen… Es war sehr gemütlich. Danke, wir kommen wieder 🍀❤️

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, spricht jedoch kein Wort Englisch und auch keine Hand und Zeichensprache 🤔

Loved everything about this quiet hidden gem tucked a way off the main road. Everyone was super friendly & helpful, room & balcony were huge, bed was huge & comfortable, pool was clean & big enough for my husband to do his laps every morning. Rohan, the owner, was very helpful in arranging a bike for our stay and a car & driver for a day trip. Loved the homemade jam at breakfast.

There was nothing that I didn’t like.
