Ideal location in the town centre, perfect for visiting family and friends nearby. Clean and tidy room, good size bedroom with everything provided that you could need. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The room was fabulous, the shower in the bathroom let it down, water pressure was virtually non existent , so it was more like dribbling out than flowing. Although perfectly located and central , there is no actual car park, only available on the street from 6pm-8am, then maximum of 2 hours in daytime, not much good if you want to go anywhere without taking the car. We had to park away down a side street without limitations when we were going out for the day on the bus.

Warm welcome and very helpful staff member (Nick). Ticked all the boxes for a well priced accommodation :-)

Comfortable bed and a clean room. Shower is bigger than the normal cramped shower trays. Breakfast was very good.

Water can be low pressure at times of high use.

The cleanliness

No breakfast- only saw anyone involved with the place for 5 mins when they showed us to our rooms. Nothing renewed in the rooms - tea, coffee, towels etc. To be honest I wasn’t impressed.

Comfortable bed nicely furnished.

Absolutly dreadful shower trickle of water. Breakfast not available, room not serviced, bed not made.

Good location

Free parking on the street close by, is only for 2 hours between 8 and 6. Only on a Sunday is parking for as long as you want. We did get a breakfast on the Saturday morning that we were there, but no staff about on Sunday morning to serve , also no milk, or juice left for us to help ourselves. Nobody even there for check out. Room was in need of a refresh, worn arm chair, mattress also needed changing, also needs a lick of paint in places

Location was on main road so easy to find - we were in back room overlooking gardens so noise minimal for us. Had a cosy double room which had all the facilities we needed. The room was not air conditioned but we had a fan and owner (Nick)had closed curtains for us to keep the room cool. Tea answered coffee facilities provided. Shower gel and soap provided and plenty of towels. Very clean room, comfy bed. Iron, board and hair dryer in room. Very clean communal areas. Would happily stay here again as it’s in a great location in the village. Nick advised us of best places to park without having to pay. Close to shops, bars and restaurants.

Unfortunately we had no hot water in our shower around 17.30, fortunately it was a very hot day so cool shower was fine! The tap water was hot in the morning so not sure what happened. We weren’t sure if breakfast was served (there is dining room at the guesthouse), we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book it but that was not a big issue for us as we wanted a relaxing morning before leaving.

Place a little tired. But great value, great location, clean and comfortable bed.
