TG2 - Tientong Guesthouse 2

Host was able to check us in after we arrived after 11pm, so we were very thankful. She was very accommodating and helpful. Although we didn't make use of them, there we so many facilities, including a nice dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The room was a nice size, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked a treat, WiFi seemed pretty good, and we also got towels. We had a shared bathroom which we were aware of, but it is downstairs, so it's not so convenient during the middle of the night, but it was fine. The shower was a bit 'unfocused' so it doesn't feel so strong, but it did the job. The area is like a cul-de-sac, which means you have a 5 minute walk to get to the main street, only one way out, but I didn't mind because it's nice and quiet. Only 20 minutes walking from the central road/night market and other popular areas.

Great hospitality from the hostess who stayed up later to greet us when our bus came in late! She upgraded our room as well and the room was spacious with toiletries and towels provided. Close to the night market (15 min walk) and Budget car rental. Lighting in the room was great, and a fridge was available to cool our drinks. AC was in perfect order and wifi was strong.

Like most mattresses in Thailand (it seems), this one was incredibly hard and we resorted to using our camping air mattresses, which is the reason I took 1 star. Could do well to add a pillow top mattress cover in the future :)

Probably the best budget stay in Hua Hin. Everything is perfect. Comfortable room with aircon. Kettle and microwave. Very quiet yet very central.

Room was spacious, big and comfy bed.

Located right next to the busy road so there is noise 24/7. Location is ok for those who have a motorbike.
