Please prepare the exact money for cash payment. The hotel owner was very dishonest. He ‘promised’ that he would return the change in the second day but he didn’t. Also, he provided an overpriced one-hour-and-a-half tour in Negombo and scammed for 5,500 rupees. Normally in other cities a guided day tour will charge for 4-5k rupees per day and he charges 5,500 for 1.5 hours, which is ridiculous.

Great experience. Denish came to pick us at the airport after 10pm and with a huge smile so we really appreciate that. The room was big, the bathroom looks pretty recent (and with hot water). Wifi could be a bit weak but if you have a sim card no worries. Breakfast in the morning, very central (5min by walk from the bus station). We had a great conversation with Denish and his wife. They’re really nice.

Such a wonderful family! He picked us up at the airport late at night. The room was clean, comfortable bed, brand new bathroom. Very convenient place to stay if you're arriving or leaving late at night. The best thing were the hosts, so nice and kind!

I only had a quick stopover in Negombo, but Denish and his wife made sure my stay was comfortable and easy. From a late night pick up, to a delicious breakfast in the morning, and helping me to my connecting bus, they truly went above and beyond. If anything, I recommend staying here just to meet and experience true Sri Lankan hospitality.

Had the best stay in Sunrise Palace. These people are so warm. They help you with everything. Pick you up from the airport in the middle of the night if you need to. For free. Definitely come back!

Such a lovely family! I was immediately greeted with smiles and they were so such sweet hosts! They both made sure I had everything I needed. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. WiFi worked well, and we were able to arrange breakfast early before getting to the airport. Very grateful for the free drop off to the airport in the morning. Definitely recommend!

Denish and his wife made our first night in Sri Lanka so memorable! Denish picked us up from the airport, gave us a tour on the way and made us feel right at home. In the morning, they made us an incredible breakfast and dropped us at the bus station, helping us get onto the right bus. They are such a friendly couple and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Sri Lanka.

Really nice spot in negombo, quiet and clean! The owners are really kind and welcoming and the house it is just few minutes walking from the train station. A place I will go back to in my future stops in negombo. Thanks 🤗
