ZAZAZAThis was our second visit to Cottage Pie. It is our absolute favorite holiday home! It is quirky, whimsical and charming, and the position right next to to Conservancy is just too beautiful. A magical place and we can’t wait for our next visit. ❤️
Perhaps a privacy curtain or window frosting decals could be put up between the kitchen in the Family Unit and the laundry area where the cleaners work.
ZABeautiful furniture, and very comfortable - quiet location
was hoping for a second shower, in the other bedroom - as a bath take too much water
ZAEverything we needed was available between the three units we booked. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside area at the Family Unit and spent most of our time there. Also very close to various hiking trails.
The gate that didn’t open and close remotely but had to be opened and closed manually.
ZAWhat a great find! Cottage Pie is nestled alongside a small (non-perennial) river, with a beautiful sandstone landform towering in front of you. A lovely peaceful retreat, just a few minutes from the town centre. A very pretty setting, with easy direct access to all the walks and trails around Clarens. The Rustic Cabin was well equipped and very cozy, as was the Upstairs Under Thatch room where our girls stayed. Karen our host was fantastic and very attentive. I highly recommend this little gem!

NZZAWe were welcomed by a warm house when we arrived late on a Winters evening. The view and the garden was another highlight.
WiFi stopped working halfway through our stay.
