The photos on booking.com website are false. The accommodation looks like a construction site. There’s black mould on the walls, one of the bathrooms doesn’t have a door. There are no windows and above the doors to the rooms is a space where there’s supposed to be glass, but instead there is only a hole in the wall. The code to our room didn’t work and the knob fell off, the owner didn’t do anything about it except accuse us of destroying the knob and demanding money. We left after 30 minutes and got on the first bus home. I texted the owner of the property that we wouldn’t be staying the night as we left. The next day, the owner sent me “proof”that we stayed there, the “proof” is a screenshot of a chat with someone and in the chat there are 2 photos, one of a bed and second of an open door… The owner of this property is a lier and will demand money for something that was already broken so DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I tried to contact booking costumer support, it’s been 3 days but with no success…

Good afternoon, we only stayed at the hotel for 3 days and it was terrible! we checked in at 10:30 pm. no one from the administration was there or in touch. the passwords that were sent to us did not work. we could not get into our room through the door, we had to climb through the window above the door!! the accommodation itself is not suitable for living, there is an active renovation. the workers start hammering, painting, etc. from the very morning. the room itself does not match the photo, there is only a bed with dirty bedding, a wardrobe and that's it. there is not even a place to put our suitcases. But the worst thing is that we planned to go further to Europe, we had bus tickets. we went to the store, and when we returned the code on the door had been changed. the owner of the hotel did not answer the calls and blocked his phone number. we were late for the bus and lost 550 euros. the owner never unlocked the phone, we learned the code from a neighbor. I can provide all the receipts confirming the loss of the ticket due to the fault of the hotel owner, and correspondence with him when he did not respond. Is it possible to compensate for the lost funds?🤮🤮
